Speck is a family run, authentic Italian delicatessen & catering business,
specialised in freshly prepared homemade Italian food.

Speck was created by Renzo Sordo, his wife Rie and Giovanni. The first shop opened its' doors on 27 October 1992. Since that very first day, the same old recipes are used in our kitchen, day in, day out.
Speck has grown from strenght to strenght and is now regarded as
one of the top Italian delicatessen in the UK.

ALL our fresh products are made in an artisanal way, and the production is controlled
by our patriarchs, Giovanni and Renzo.

The name of the shop, 'speck', comes from the dried cured ham which originates in 'Sud-Tirol' and the Italian Dolomites, Renzo's homeland.
