SERVICES Speck has expanded drastically over the years and offers a variety of services. SHOPS Two shops offering typical Italian products, fresh and non-perishable, are open from Monday to Saturday. PARTY FOOD & CATERING Party food can be discussed with and ordered directly from the kitchen to be picked up in either one of the shops. The food can be prepared and disposed in the customer’s own serving dishes or Speck’s dishes can be used. You can also ask Speck to handle the party from beginning to the end, they will ensure your invitees will be served plenty of drinks and food. The top end of the ‘Party Food Service’ provided by speck is their ‘Diamond Service’. All the food, cold and hot is served by Speck’s staff, on candlelit antique mirrors, in ‘CUCCHIAI’ (spoons). Silver Service Dinners Would you like your house to function like a restaurant for your friends and guests? It is possible. You can call our kitchen and offices to discuss your requests. A menu will be proposed, with or without the wine of your choice. Speck’s very own chefs come and cook a dinner for your guests from scratch, starting with fresh ingredients. Speck’s staff will serve and clean up afterwards. Dinners to take away Discuss your menu Speck and you will be able to pick it all up from the shop, ready to serve or to be reheated… CORPORATE CATERING Corporate lunch delivery Speck presents weekly a new lunch menu to it’s corporate clients. This menu can be faxed or emailed. Orders, for a minimum of £200 per delivery must be faxed to us before 9.30 am. The food will then be prepared freshly and delivered, hot if applicable, during lunch hours. Payment by company accounts only. Corporate ‘Business Lunches’ Your requirements can be discussed and a tailor-made proposal follows. PASTA 4 KIDS Speck’s staff looks after your Kid’s party. Please look at our website for more information or call the office. Nina will explain how it all works. Be ensured that your kids will enjoy this and at the end of the day, they will even master the art of fresh pasta making! RECIPE SERVICE Only a phonecall or email away… Would you like to know how we make a ‘Broccoli sauce’ or any other dish for that matter? Giovanni, Renzo or Rie will be glad too share their secrets with you. [Top] PRODUCTS Speck offers a vast range of products. Many residents of Holland Park have surnamed our shop ‘Alladin’s cave’. After twelve years of loyal returns, they still find out new products on the shelves. We try to stay in touch with the continuous changes in the Fashionable Italian food market. It is definitely worth it to spend some time with our sales staff if you are searching for a rare ingredient or product. Maybe even call our office and inquire? Some products have different names depending on the region of origin. (Casciotta = Pecorino) Speck has made a name for it’s fresh produce. Our fresh pasta is produced on a daily basis, in our shop in Thayer Street and in the kitchen. The kitchen works from Monday till Friday and sometimes on the weekends to prepare for advanced booked parties or during the festive season. The range of freshly made products on offer is enormous and to sum them all up here would most probably be a waste of space.
